FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make my flowers last as long as I possible?

We have a few suggestions here! Make sure that they are always in water. After about a week, we recommend taking them out of the vase, pouring out the old water, giving the vase a quick rinse or wash, and putting fresh water in it. Cut the flowers at an angle just a little up from the bottom before putting them back in the water. We've even heard of people putting a little bit of Sprite in the water to give them a bit of sugar.

What do the different colors of roses mean?

Red roses symbolize love, desire, and romance. Sweetness and admiration are associated with pink roses. Yellow is often seen as the color for friendship. White can be used as sympathy and new beginnings. Lavender roses suggest fascination and enchantment. All that being said, we mostly recommend either selection the recipient's favorite color or choosing red for romantic gestures. Either way, we are happy to help you deliver happiness!

I just got a plant! How do I take care of it?

Each plant is different, but a few things stay consistent across the plant board.

  • Most indoor house plants prefer to be in medium lighting, too much sun can harm them and too little can stunt growth.

Plants can be OVER watered as well as UNDER watered.

  • If your house plant is drooping a little take a minute to feel the dirt with your finger before watering.
  • If the soil is very wet, pour out the excess water and let it dry out well before watering again, and make sure not to over do it.
  • If the soil is very dry, your plant would appreciate if you could fill the sink up a little way and let it hang out and soak up the water from the bottom.
  • If you plant is slightly dry then go ahead and give it a drink of water.

If you know the name of the plant, looking up specific directions could be beneficial. If you don't know the name, don't worry. These instructions will help your thumb be greener!

How long does an arrangement typically last?

We put in a lot of work on our end to make sure that your flowers will last as long as possible. Arrangements should last around a week to a week and a half. Different flowers will last for different amounts of time. If you follow our instructions on how to make them last then you should be able to enjoy them for a good long while!
